I expected Carter & June to be primarily a heist film filled with guns and explosions, but there was an unexpected element of heart that kept my attention. Timothy Omundson's portrayal of Spencer Rabbit particularly stands out, as well as Samaire Armstrong's charming performance as June O'Malley.

This Independent Film has everything some of the year's best and biggest don't have: entertainment for an adult. The main bad guy is a southern strip club owner who has creative use of curse words throughout. There's explosions, a heist, double-crossing of double-crossing and adorable, but wayward foil. Carter and June is a great, fun movie- designed for adults.
