Jun 18, 2009 amusing film but as usual finds itself in the realm of the usual sci-fi robot premise of robots will take control due to mis-interpretting what we programmed them to do!! See more Apr 27, 2009 Casshan: Robot Hunter. A 'film' made up of the 4 episode long OVA of the same name. Telling the ongoing story of Casshan, a bioroid designed by the great scientist Kotaro Azuma and created from his son Tetsuya. Kotaro's previous creation, BK-01, was buit to help the world. BK-01 (or Black King, as he renames himself) decideds that in order to clean up earth, humans must be destroyed, thus getting rid of pollution and war. It's up to Casshan to save the human race and destroy Black King before it's too late. Casshan is a classic anime with plenty of robots being torn apart, fire breathing robot dogs which turn into planes and more backflips than you can count. See more Nov 15, 2007 looks terrible and he plot too complicated for what you get at the end, which is not much See more Nov 13, 2007 The animation feels dated, but it's an enjoyable romp. The more recent live action adaption isn't bad either.
