Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty messy story about an American small hotel owner who has an affair with the wife of the deposed head of the secret police of the Dominican Republic regime he fought against as a member of the US intervening fighting force. You need to pay attention to this one as the plot quickly gets confusing between the affair and plot twists designed to swindle money from the former head of the secret police. Based on a novel and the guess here is you're better off reading the story than watching it despite a decent cast. Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Vestron production has Weller hooking up with McGillis while visiting the Dominican, the unhappy wife of a brutal former Dominican general. This was a muddled finished product blamed mainly on Vestron's financial troubles. Director Ferrera would disown the film and McGillis' career would virtually disappear afterward.
