With help from a strong performance by Leonardo DiCaprio as real-life wunderkind con artist Frank Abagnale, Steven Spielberg crafts a film that's stylish, breezily entertaining, and surprisingly sweet.

Namrata Joshi Outlook A hugely watchable film that disappoints nonetheless. Rated: 2/4 Jan 3, 2019 Full Review Nell Minow Common Sense Media Excellent account of FBI's youngest Most Wanted. Rated: 5/5 Dec 22, 2010 Full Review Geoff Andrew Time Out This is the director's most likeable film in ages, even if it's insubstantial, overlong and, frankly, a touch redundant. Jun 24, 2006 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand Spielberg beautifully creates the culture of the 1950s nuclear family shattered and the American Dream soured. Apr 8, 2023 Full Review Cory Woodroof Nashville Scene "[a] phenomenal Leonardo DiCaprio/Tom Hanks caper..." Nov 3, 2022 Full Review Jim Rohner Battleship Pretension Catch Me If You Can is probably one of the best films amongst Spielberg's minor titles, saying more positively about the man's talent than it says anything negatively about the film. Frans B fast moving and cleverly written, try to keep up hahaha. Loved this very much. Suggest a more than once viewing, you'll see what I mean. Stellar performances by whole cast. Amazing movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/26/25 Full Review Audience Member Tom Hanks and Leo DiCaprio, directed by Steven Spielberg? Yes, of course this is a 5 star film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/22/25 Full Review Luke C Love this movie. I was fascinated by Abagnale's genius. Watching him cover up his tracks and keep his composure is something that was super fun to watch even if he was technically the bad guy. The relationship between Frank and Carl is a very notable part of the movie because we see the evolution of what is a simple cat and mouse chase to something more. There were a lot of sad parts that made me empathize with Frank despite the fact that he was frauding governments out of millions. I'm happy that Abagnale had a happy ending, and that he ended up using his genius for good. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/22/25 Full Review Fantasia 2 It's one of the most best movie of Spielberg . The whole storytelling of the movie is brilliant . Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Julian Rex M Deriving much of its success from typically a outstanding performance from Leonardo DiCaprio and witty visual gimmicks, Catch Me if You Can is a frequently entertaining loose-biopic that only occasionally settles into lethargic pacing and the needless embellishment of uninteresting plot points. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Muvi B Everyone on board is at their best Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
