Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/23 Full Review StephenPaul C The greatest 1.25 hours of animation and music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It was a really funny and very purr-fect animated family musical comedy movie. It had very refreshing animation, really extraordinary voice cast, really fun characters, really engaging songs, very wacky comedy, really great adventure, really astonishing backgrounds and a really cute story. In my opinion, I think it’s one of my personal favorite animated movies of the 90s so far. My favorite song is “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” (the final song). I definitely recommend this film to both children and adults. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/20/23 Full Review Hannah B To this day I can hear the faint echoes of fellow animation students crying in outrage that this movie is STILL so under appreciated. Real ones know this is a CLASSIC Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/10/23 Full Review Legoware A very refreshing animated movie. A love letter to classic Hollywood and animation, it serves as a spark of originality in the 90's era of animation. Sad to see this banger is pretty obscure Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Paul Tatara CNN.com Cats Don't Dance is a blast... There's a pleasing luminescence to the animation, with colors that glow like neon throughout. Aug 15, 2018 Full Review John Petrakis Chicago Tribune Cats Don't Dance has some of the sharp irreverence of the brilliant Who Framed Roger Rabbit. There are plenty of clever asides and witty one-liners, not to mention a few terrific supporting characters. Aug 15, 2018 Full Review Nell Minow Common Sense Media Very cute animation with Randy Newman music. Rated: 3/5 Dec 22, 2010 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy The characters are dull in both form and content. Rated: 2/4 Oct 14, 2023 Full Review Cory Woodroof 615 Film I refuse to believe anything else but that a young Damien Chazelle walked into a movie theater, watched this and left thinking, “I’m going to make this movie, but it’ll be a 3-hour bacchanal with Brad Pitt.” (Mark Dindal kicked ass with this one) Jan 15, 2023 Full Review Rachel Wagner Rachel's Reviews (YouTube) We rarely get movies like this that have so much heart.
