Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com There is something humorously entertaining about watching Namath's smug "I'm better than you and I know it" grin, but watching it for 94 minutes does get a wee bit tiresome. Rated: 1.5/4.0 Sep 5, 2020 Full Review Tony Mastroianni Cleveland Press In one scene a man points to Namath and says "...that's what gives motorcycling a bad name." So do movies like this one. Photo M I wanted to this this movie when it was released. I waited 53 years to see it If it wasn't for Ann I would have given this one star Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/16/23 Full Review Audience Member What's not to like? Smoking hot Ann-Margret, Super Bowl-era stud Joe Namath, William Smith, some righteous scoots (choppers to the uninitiated), lots of fights, hot ladies, and motocross and flat track racing. And a great soundtrack! The movie struggles to deliver on several scenes. It's dialogue is no Easy Rider, and other movies like Little Fauss and Big Halsey deliver better action, but it's a watchable, entertaining movie, In my humble yet professional opinion ;-) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I have always had a serious thing for Joe Namath. But still I could sit through this for more than 15 minutes. Yes, it was that bad.. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It's so bad, it's good. It's actua;;y quite a funny movie, especially watching it all these years later. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member *1/2 (out of four) In 1970 Joe Namath was on the A-list of the celebrity status system. The football superstar doesn't quite score on the big screen, however. Namath is a mechanic who joins a biker gang called "The Heads". He stops them from raping a young woman (Ann-Margret) and the two begin to fall in love, angering the gang leader (William Smith). Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Joe Namath spent some time in the 1970 offseason to make his film debut as a biker who wisely splits with his gang who sleeps in the wilderness to bunk with Ann-Margret and sets up a deadly race with the leader of the Heads.
