Tara Brady Irish Times Censored Voices, which was executive produced by Super Size Me's Morgan Spurlock, is accessible and educative. Rated: 4/5 Feb 23, 2016 Full Review Michael Phillips Chicago Tribune "Censored Voices" likely would've benefited from additional reflection from the older, on-screen subjects. But what's there is consistently thought-provoking. Rated: 3/4 Jan 22, 2016 Full Review Bill Stamets Chicago Reader Illuminating German-Israeli documentary. Jan 21, 2016 Full Review Nick Evan-Cook One Room With A View Censored Voices is fascinating, thought provoking and emotional, though perhaps not as much as it could have been given the subject matter. Rated: 3/5 May 4, 2019 Full Review Ben Nicholson CineVue Too often Censored Voices suffers from its subjects modern day silence, regardless of the reasons behind it. Rated: 3/5 Apr 8, 2019 Full Review Tom Birchenough The Arts Desk Censored Voices speaks richly about the sheer experience of war, its chaos, the contrast between any idea of how it was supposed to be and how it actually was, and how the protagonists mitigated that difference. Audience Member 8/14/16 Amazon Prime A different twist on telling a war story. The soldiers recollections are telling, sobering, disturbing and brutally honest. Doesn't always paint the Jewish army in the best light. Only complaint is that some sub titles were difficult to read because the white type bled into the screen. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Thoroughly depressing but comprehensive summary of the six day war and its legacy.
