In ancient Scotland, the Ninth Legion liberates a Roman officer named Quintus Dias (Michael Fassbender) from his Pict captors. The soldiers are in pursuit of the Pict leader, and Quintus joins their quest. Soon afterward, the Romans' Pict guide betrays them, resulting in the slaughter of all but a handful of men. The Roman survivors try desperately to reach safety, as the indigenous warriors pick them off one by one.

A great movie for those fans of the genre. I thoroughly enjoyed its run time with a rewarding ending. Realistic gore and effects help carry the movie along as well as realistic scenarios and injuries.

Minha opinião: este filme não é o nível de #gladiador ou #coraçãovalente mas ele não deixa de ser ruim. Um filme bom. Uma boa atução de Michael e Olga e outros atores. O filme é a perseguição dos romanos que conseguiram sobreviver a guerra onde perderam. E eles são caçados e perseguidos pelos #vikins e principalmente pela Olga que é uma rastreadora. Conhecem em uma cabana Iogen que dizem ser uma necromont. Até vencerem o inimigo e depois descobre que o maior inimigo são os próprios romanos. Roteiro: Bom roteiro Vale apena assistir? So much potential. They let us down. Weak ending. Go true dark, or go home. After the bs assasination attempt, don't try to salvage a happy ending. Say what you wanted to say. Then roll credits. Don't try to beg forgiveness from your audience afterwards. My 2 cents.

The action was pretty good but there were so many moments that take you out of the film such as Roman soldiers with spears through them managing to fight and kill people and some others with crazy injuries. That can be looked over easily though. The worst part of the film is that they portrayed the invaders as the good guys and the people defending their country as ruthless and evil subhumans. Was waiting for the part where it shows they are the bad guys but it never comes, so disappointed
