Lisa Schwarzbaum Entertainment Weekly Rated: C Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Michael Wilmington Chicago Tribune It's a tender, sympathetic film from a gifted writer-director, Algerian-born Josee Dayan, who obviously adores Moreau, Duras and literature. Rated: 3/4 Nov 13, 2003 Full Review John Monaghan Detroit Free Press Like its subject, Cet Amour-La has a knack for making you focus on the beauty beneath the imperfections. Means Salt Lake Tribune Moreau's small but telling glances are all the movie has to reveal Duras' loneliness and yearning for a last embrace, but at times it's almost enough. Audience Member Wonderful performances by both actors, esp. the older woman, but the premise strained my credulity. Their ages were SOO far apart. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member When the credits began at the end, I laughed and cried simultaneously for the simplicity and shear beauty of a wonderful love story. Don't miss a word, a nuance, not one moment. A French film with subtitles, but, each word is an emotion. It tells of life, devotion, obsession, joy, sorrow, and friendship. A story of simplicity in Love. A must see for any Romantic Soul. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Jeanne Moreau, diciendo que "Capri C'est Fini!" de Herve Vilard es algo bizarro pero igual de encantador. La pelicula me llegó en un mal momento, definitivamente eso influye en mi grado de apreciacion (ok, no es tan tan buena, pero a mí me encanta) danky Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Capri, C'est Fini... , ok, no es de lo mejor pero J,M insoportable y encantadora Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A last good lead role to Jeanne Moreau, who remains as watchable as ever. An interesting story too, but the leading man is too weak. However, Moreau makes the film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Genuine and complex.
