      Chantilly Bridge

Released Mar 24, 2023 1 hr. 26 min. Comedy Drama List
Reviews 91% Fewer than 50 Ratings Audience Score Chantilly Bridge reunites a group of lifelong, steadfast friends who are still -- in their later years -- chasing their dreams, fighting injustices, and sticking up for their convictions. The women lay bare their lives and deal with important issues that impact all women with humor, humility, humanity, and love. No topic escapes the razor-like wit and insight of these women: equality, sex, menopause, mortality, feminism, parenthood, careers, love, and even "me-too" moments. While women often feel invisible in the world, this film highlights who they are and what they care about. We experience what women are truly like and what they discuss in a setting where no men are present. Chantilly Bridge is also about reconnecting with old friends from the past and the beauty of a shared history. Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Premiered Feb 27 Buy Now

KGGirl Very slow moving despite all the talent. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Nicole M Absolutely adored this movie. Very well done and relatable to so many on all different walls of life. Beautiful locations and amazing filmography. It is wonderful production that all should view. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/23 Full Review Stephen F The film has so much heart. Incredibly moving and funny. Loved the cast! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/23 Full Review Max T Saw this movie during its run in NYC! Incredible performances from the cast and direction from Linda Yellen. All together, a beautiful film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/26/23 Full Review Matt T Equal parts heartfelt and heartbreaking, Chantilly Bridge offers a glimpse into the turmoil in the mind of aging women. The film moves with a tastefully slow pace, letting the audience identify with the characters, whose naturalistic dialogue allows banter to flow into arguments, into heartwrenching moments of silence. A must-watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/23 Full Review Henry S This film resonated with me on so many levels. Firstly, it is visually stunning with wonderful landscape scenes that transport the viewer to a world of beauty and tranquility. The old house where everything takes place is particularly charming with its tchotchkefied decor adding to the film's overall aesthetic. One of the standout aspects of the film is the choice of Judy Collins singing throughout. Her voice is wonderfully hypnotic and transcendental adding to the film's emotional resonance. The film's inter generational relationships among longtime women friends and the young adult daughter of one of them connected with me on many levels. The interactions between the characters seemed unscripted and had a good balance of serious connections and genuine funny moments. Overall, Chantilly Bridge is a film that is beautiful to look at has a lot of heart. Those who appreciate character-driven dramas and stunning visuals will find much to enjoy. Nell Minow RogerEbert.com [The cast is] better at evoking the kinds of in-jokes and easy laughter of old friends than conveying the intimacy of genuine connection. Rated: 3/4 Mar 24, 2023 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru A warm, wise, tender and well-acted story about female friendship. Apr 5, 2023 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media For women of a certain age (a demographic often neglected on the big screen), Chantilly Bridge offers validation, relatability, and the opportunity to feel seen. Rated: 2/5 Mar 31, 2023 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Our nostalgic attachment to actresses who had their share of iconic roles decades ago is worth something...but...the script is all generalized banalities, the shared trials of being “at that age.” Mar 30, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
