Leo Schneider (Joseph Bologna) introduces his brother, George (James Caan), to a vivacious, recently divorced actress named Jennie MacLaine (Marsha Mason). Although George was mourning his wife's death, he feels the spark of life return after his date with Jennie. They commence a whirlwind relationship, and in the blink of an eye they are suddenly married and on their honeymoon. Soon after, however, George begins feeling concerned that their union may have been somewhat hasty.

Greg H Jul 29 I remember this from when I was a teenager. I understand how much he must hurt and I understand how both of them are trying to move on a different levels. This movie makes me hurt, it makes me feel, it makes me laugh, and then it makes me very happy. I don't think we can ask more from the movie. Let it make you feel what you will feel.
