Becky A 3d This is a hidden gem with factual basis. The plot kept my interest piqued all the way through, and while I wish the ending had been A LOT more detailed, it's vagueness adds a certain charm to the whole thing. A great film! See more Dan R 02/05/2024 2013's 'Chariot' is a really interesting concept for a film and is, supposedly, based on a true story. The film is currently available on Prime. SYNOPSIS: 'Seven strangers find themselves unwitting participants in a U.S. government evacuation program gone horribly wrong.' This is very much a B movie, maybe even a C movie which was made on a $40k budget, on a tiny set with no talent you'll have ever heard of. But it's surprisingly good. The film builds up the suspense slowly and delivers a number of twists and turns. Is this the Government, something supernatural or something more. The actual outcome is something more fallible, more tenable. It's man with a rather large error which will cost the cast their lives. This is a film idea and storyline which could easily be made into a larger Hollywood film with A list talent. Hopefully it would still deliver as this film does. See more Dan B 11/10/2023 I watched this thinking it was sci fi, but turns out it's based on a true story. You can pick holes with the plot but the basis of the story makes you think. Basically VIPS will be protected when there's a major attack is the gist of the story. Believable because I'm sure this will be the case round the world. We normal people won't even be a consideration.
