Audience Member Loved it! Give it 10 minutes to figure out where it's going, once you're past that you'll get hooked. The subjects tackled in this film are fascinating to the layman and the scientific community alike. Two Thumbs Up!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Extremely thought provoking! Well done in every way. If you love PBS you will love this! Leaves you wanting to know more about that elusive dark matter. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary with human stories and you'll learn something new about our world and universe! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member If you have any interest in science at all, this is a winner. It starts out with some big concepts. But everything is so well explained, thanks to the scientists on camera and the directors and editor who put it together, that I never felt lost. It asks some interesting questions. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie was thought provoking and inspiring to see so many driven, brilliant scientists pursue the truth and discover potentially ground breaking scientific advancements. Chasing Einstein uniquely found a way to bring in the human element for a documentary that is so deep and advanced. I enjoy watching films that lead me to continue to think about the subject and come up with questions. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw the US premiere last night in Santa Monica. An eye-opening look inside the world of physicists studying the most fundamental questions. Did Einstein correctly describe how gravity works? Why can't science detect Dark Matter, required to make Einstein's theory "work"? This documentary introduces many real characters trying to either defend or replace our current models of gravity. The film shows the human side, and the human cost, of their lifelong efforts. The drama builds carefully, and left us as viewers much more aware of the uncertainty behind the accepted physics of the universe. Highly recommended, even for a non-technical audience!
