Paul Lê Bloody Disgusting As an ecological horror, it pales next to something as remarkable as Russell Mulcahy’s Razorback, but on its own terms, Chaw delivers excitement and offbeat fun. Rated: 3/5 Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Ed Travis Hollywood Jesus Chawz is about having a good time at the movies. The humor is surprisingly strong, and I found myself laughing out loud often. Apr 2, 2020 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com Picture has difficulty translating frantic fits of performance and slapstick into a crisply executed feature film, wasting a delicious premise on two protracted hours of stillborn silly business. Rated: C+ May 1, 2011 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures Shin Jeong-won's Chaw, the latest film to pit humans against a gigantic boar, seems more interested in wildly parodying what has come before than in rooting out new territories for itself. Logan D A giant boar terrorizes a town right before harvest season. This film certainly nods to Jaws in that idiots are more worried about money than lives. Most of the slapstick humor works but the horror just isn't there. A normal sized boar is scary. A giant one would be terrorizing. I never got a sense of tension from the boar attacks but I did look foward to the next attack. The film should've been shortened by a half hour and made bloodier. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Audience Member I used to have cancer but after seeing this movie I decided not to have cancer. 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Often hilarious and quite engrossing - this movie is just a riot and highly recommended! Mi sono divertito col porco gigante coreano! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review tom k A fun film that has a bizarre little town threatened by a giant man-eating boar. It combines dark humor with some elements of Jaws. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
