In this parody adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas novel, a boisterous but unappreciated rock band is kicked out of a quaint French town, only to cross paths with a mystical gypsy, who unfolds the strange tale of two brothers (Cheech Marin, Thomas Chong) from the Corsican family who, although separated at birth, could feel each other's physical pleasures and pains. When the oddly powered pair reunite, their misguided misadventures spark the beginning of the French Revolution.

Audience Member When I was a kid this movie proved to me "Laughter is the best medicine", as I had a terrible flu when I started the movie and couldn't hold anything down, and by the end, I was laughing so hard I felt better, and didn't get sick again. I showed this movie to my kid, and even though I've lost a lot of my giggles for such antics, the kid agrees it's still funny. There are a few sexual jokes you might want to carefully talk to your kid about, it's not a kids' film even though I saw it as a kid, and the ending is undoubtedly ageist, and sure to remind even the hottest women what Cheech and Chong think of them in the end; Too Old... Otherwise, this one is funny, and still holds up with the next generation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Really enjoyed the story, love the parody of the theme with Cheech and Chong being themselves throughout. Good mid-80s movie to chill and have fun watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member It's stupid as hell, and I've enjoyed watching it many times over the years. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Ridiculous and unnecessary but oh so funny. Not the boy's best and pretty much ended their movie career as a duo,but funny none the less Turn off your brain and laugh Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member cheech & chong's take on the classic Dumas novel about 'psychic' twins Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was the last movie Cheech and Chong did, they done an awful job with this one.
