Alec B Nov 21 I wouldn't call myself a fan of Chelsea. I find her funny sometimes but usually I'm fairly indifferent. This special, however, was.....awkward to watch. I know every comedian has their style of stand up but this felt very stale and I thought to myself "hasn't she been saying this same kind of stuff for her entire career?". It's all stuff I'd heard before. I can understand if you need to recycle small bits and pieces of previous material but that's what this entire special felt like. Her delivery is her usual, snappy style but when the material is lacking the delivery isn't going to hit, either. Better luck next time, I guess. See more Jared O Jun 19 Chelsea is one of my faves.
