Audience Member Thankful, that the so called family is exposed by this documentary, that's coming from someone that knows a bit about them, enough said. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member If you have studied the Children of God cult (now known as The Family) then this film will offer nothing new for you. If you have never heard of this cult, then this will be a shocking eye opener into a world of religion that many do not realize existed just a few years ago. The Children of God has a history of sexual abuse, brainwashing, and prostitution. This film lays out all the "dirty laundry", and it comes straight from former members whose parents are still involved in the cult. It also talks about Ricky Rodriguez, who was once thought to be the future leader of the cult but left the group and later murdered one of his abusers and committed suicide. Sadly the film also shows the deep denial of those still involved with the group, and how that affects those who have defected. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
