Grace Rhodes (Naomi Watts), who is studying to be a doctor, returns to her hometown as a strange illness is afflicting the local children. The symptoms include a high fever and spasms, but even weirder is what happens the next day: All those with the illness claim they are somebody else -- then they begin murdering the grown-ups. After her sister undergoes the same sinister metamorphosis, Grace comes to believe there is some connection to an evil cult figure who may be returning from the grave.

An okay watch, but it's hard to recommend it unless you are a big fan of straight-to-video 90s horror flicks with some gore but mostly drama and tension brought on by dream sequences or if you are a Naomi Watts completionist.

This film has hardly any connection to the children of the corn franchise and because of that this film it is a bad children of the corn movie but not a bad movie in its own story.

No está mal, pero es una historia muy diferente que expande la saga aunque ignorando las películas anteriores. Aun así genera algunas dudas al tratar de relacionarla con las entregas anteriores y eso hace que se sienta como un spin off o como una película diferente. Naomi Watts es lo más destacable y también algunas escenas de muerte y los efectos especiales. Lamentablemente, se queda algo corta en comparación con las entregas anteriores. Mi nota para esta película es un 7/10.

Dang, this movie was almost awesome compared to the 2 sequels before it. It wasn't very good but still felt like it. Still sucked, but actually a decent plot that had potential to be scary (even though it wasn't). The acting was the best in the series since the original and Naomi Watts was part of the reason, even though she probably ignores the fact she was in this movie. Overall, it wasn't connected to the other movies, but that's definitely not an issue considering how terrible 2 and 3 were.
