Well at least they tried to do a different story with children of the corn franchise.....the execution of this film though however was terrible. Half the characters I couldn't get invested in so I was just really watching to see how each of them would die. Massive plot holes that makes no sense and a lot of convenient plot points were made to get the story going.

Esta quinta película retoma algo de las primeras entregas y aunque también expande el universo de esta saga, de hecho falla como película de terror, ya que se trata de un thriller sobrenatural más bien. Los efectos especiales le dan algo de vibra, pero son pocos y la historia va de acuerdo al misterio de todo lo que sucede en la trama. Una historia muy simple y a pesar de tener a David Carradine, es una película olvidable que no aporta mucho a esta saga. Mi calificación para esta película es un 7/10.

No "Children of the Corn" film is ever going to be a masterpiece, but "Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror" manages to be entertaining by putting the focus on the cult itself, and having younger people fight off these god damn children.
