Time Out Only in the highly orchestrated, surprisingly gory climax, wherein Chucky's plastic form takes on the sins of the flesh, is there a spark of originality. Feb 9, 2006 Full Review Richard Harrington Washington Post An inevitable sequel that's not as good as its progenitor, but better than most movies with the numbers 2 through 8 in their titles. Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid The film is surprisingly well-shot with all kinds of strange angles and unsettling spaces, notably the toy factory where the climactic showdown takes place. Rated: 3/4 Jul 20, 2024 Full Review C.H. Newell Father Son Holy Gore Mancini has big things to say about capitalism aimed at kids, though they don't always come across as well as in other portions of the franchise. Rated: 3/5 May 1, 2019 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy In embracing its identity as a tacky horror movie, and totally scrapping the murder mystery angle that made the original so wobbly, it manages to be a darn sight more fun to watch. Rated: 6/10 Jul 9, 2011 Full Review Steve Newton Georgia Straight Too much effort went towards giving Chucky life in this film, while other things like the writing, acting, and direction were left for dead. Alex S Child’s Play 2 takes Chucky’s murderous playful behavior to a whole new level, becoming a fun factor for fans of the iconic character. While the entertainment value is undeniable, the film series’ silly side overrides into a potential over-the-top legacy that could define the franchise. Grading: C Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/25 Full Review the ender 2012 e LA MEJOR ENTREGA DEL MUÑECO DIABOLICO. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review Nicholas C These reviews make no sense. This movie is better than the first and so insane and purely awesome. The bond between Andy and Kyle is so cute and Andy's actor is so cute in both movies. The only thing that makes no sense is in the first movie, the voodoo man says they need to kill his heart to kill him but in the end spoiler alert: they pour hot melted plastic on Chucky and put an air pressure hose in his mouth and blow up his head and that ends him. Awesome movie and the reviws it got are unfair Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review thiago s Filme legalzinho, o roteiro é bacana, gostei do chucky mas desta vez as mortes foram mais ou menos no filme, foi chato esse negócio de ninguém acreditar no moleque, ele foi atacado no primeiro filme, gostei do final que chucky brigou com o muleque junto com sua baba na loja de bonecos do chucky e chucky foi morto quando a mulher pegou a mangueira e encheu chucky de um líquido ácido e fez chucky explodir, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo por que o filme forçou a barra de ninguém acreditar no moleque, só por isso. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/25 Full Review Luis Otavio F It's pretty good, not better than the original. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review Tyler B Taking the capitalist approach was a daring move that paid off for the sequel. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review Read all reviews
