Justin T This is a really dull film. The story could have been interesting but I was too bored by the action. The camera work is terrible and the direction rubbish. There is plenty of nudity but no violence (except for a tiny amount of blood). This film is best avoided even if it is mercifully short. Modern b-movies have the benefit of being more entertaining for less money. I can't fault the ambition but I can fault the lack of creativity. It really has not aged well, I think even when it was released I don't think I would have liked it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/21/23 Full Review Curtis C I rarely give ratings this low but this one possibly deserves a 0 stars. Absolutely nothing worth remembering or re-watching. Brief synopsis: The main actress, 'Christina', has been separated from her family since an early age. She goes 'home' for the reading of her father's will, gets strange stories from the villagers as they tell her the house is abandoned, has been for years, and finds all of her family is strange/weird/sick. She has nightmares of events, usually erotic (sic). She is a hottie but her acting makes the nude scenes seem dull/boring. She eventually dies and becomes a member of the living dead family. No redeeming quality. Save yourself 80 minutes of your life that you can not get back and pass on this one. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/24/23 Full Review cees t Very bad. Poor acting and it seems like they gave up trying to fit the scenes together so added the zombie scenes after the end. One nice ritual lesbian scene though, so 4/10 instead of 2/10. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A masterpiece here capable of scaring you ,without silly exaggerations and tomato juice...Franco rules ! ! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I owned a horribly edited version of this film when I was younger and have always called this the worst film I have ever seen. The restored version is a much better movie. Especially since it provided good nude scenes instead of a woman with a hairy nipple. At the end of the day this is still a bad movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I've seen a couple of different versions of this and if you are going to just get one, make sure it's the Redemption Blu-Ray copy with 3 different versions on it. The Zombie 4: A Virgin Among The Living Dead EDDE release is nearly unwatchable. Even after watching what is supposed to be the best version of this film, I am not that impressed.
