Keeley M really unsure why this has low rating, i loved it so much! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/22/23 Full Review r 9 This one dragged. It gets a touch of respect from me as 'Christmas in Toyland' at least doesn't end in the ultra cliché way where everything goes to plan and the main characters get exactly what they wanted at the start. It is very much still cheesy and all that jazz though, as you'd expect. I just found this 2022 release to be a bit bland. Vanessa Lengies' Charlie is alright as lead, though those around her aren't all that memorable - Jesse Hutch sticks out most, if only via a process of elimination. The film does have festive vibes and the aforementioned cheese, so it'll work for some audiences I'm sure. For me, it's likely not one I'll recall in a few weeks. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review tim s "Christmas in Toyland" is a typical Hallmark release of a Christmas disaster that brings two people together who find love in the process. A large struggling Toy Company is looking to make savings after a disastrous year of retail outlet sales. One store has been the yearly exception and rather than just make the decision to close all stores and go totally on line the company sends a data analyst to investigate what this store is doing different. Tasked with trying to save not only all other retail outlets but even the successful store is Charlie ( Vanessa Lengies ). She meets store manager Grant ( Jesse Hutch ) and quickly develops a relationship with both him and his family. Unfortunately Charlie, despite winning over her bosses and board of directors,  fails to save the store. However after resigning her position Charlie returns to the town where the store has now closed and finally gets her man. ( as well as an outlet for her own awful design of toys).  Typical Hallmark Christmas romantic outing with little real substance. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
