Audience Member Great family movie not just for Christmas . Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Lee W I must say I only enjoyed this movie ironically! It's a nice smooth sail from their meeting (arguing about a Christmas wreath) to their, of course, snowy declarations of love on Christmas! Along the way a lot of subplots pop up and are quickly despatched like a game of whack-a-mole; will she take the job, what will happen to "Dad's desk", does she really want that snooty citified boyfriend? The resolution is, of course, telegraphed and pre-ordained but if you want someone to die suddenly watch "Downton Abbey." Everyone gives a nice sincere performance. It's kind of hilarious how much of the characters emotions are centered on things not just the Nutcracker in the poster but wreaths and a ceramic christmas trees too plus Mom and Dad's house which must be sold! The house is also decorated like a Saks catalogue but I suppose that's what people want. Won't kill you. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/20/19 Full Review Read all reviews
