You can't tell it's dubbed. The acting is perfect. Beautiful winter scenes. Joyous story line. Many themes... everything from overcoming the loss of family, to the joy of being adopted, to the transformation of an old angry cynical man's redemption, to the art and love of giving. Highly recommend for children and families. Note: it's not based on the real St. Nickolas nor is it some fake Hollywood Santa Claus either. It will bring a tear to your eye without it being sappy. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/24/23 Full Review Gary X Dramatic, emotionally intense and more down to earth Christmas Movie - without glitter, magic and dancing elves but a more plausible plot and a heart-warming outcome. I suggest only children of an age above 9-10 years should watch it. Some countries have rated it 6 years and older - although themes include death, moaning and to some degree threats of violence.
