Paul M Not your typical ultra violent, camp fest… there is more lurking just beneath the surface. Deals with tough themes and does so unflinchingly while also producing a series of elevated moments more akin to the A24 horror films of today. Brutal, tense and well written. Puts it in another realm of terror for the audience. Funny bits, blood, gore and mayhem! Old school backwood Texas horror vibes that would make Tobe Hopper blush to say the least. I've watched this movie so many times since my good friend kept talking it up. And since the 1st time, I was hooked.
