Bex W Beautiful cinematography. Unfortunately became so pretentiously melancholic that it resembles an art-house film rather than a documentary; I find it hard to believe that some scenes were not scripted and that the main "character" wasn't directed. Overall though still worth a watch on a slow evening simply for the insight into a beautifully decaying post-soviet rural mining town. But I found myself playing large sections of the film in fast motion so that I could get past certain sections more quickly. Georgia has unique music, so I found the music scenes interesting. And I enjoyed the outdoor vistas of the town. I would have liked more extensive scenes of the town and surroundings, but much of the action takes place indoors.
