Jonathan Trout BBC.com There's not much below the surface, and it does take time to get up to speed, but the jovial, high-energy approach and the endless charisma and athleticism of the leads makes for a superior slice of high-kicking entertainment. Rated: 3/5 Jun 8, 2007 Full Review Trevor Johnston Time Out Roly-poly comic Lee Beom-su's terrific performance as the oleaginous villain is another plus, setting the seal on a no-nonsense action flick delivered with skill and conviction. Jun 8, 2007 Full Review Kat Brown Empire Magazine Humorous with some decent action sequences. Rated: 3/5 Jun 8, 2007 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis HanCinema Ryoo Seung-wan actually directs a martial arts film, which takes place in an urban environment, and with the fighting scenes featuring, almost exclusively, the two protagonists facing hordes of enemies. Dec 16, 2018 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed A pure show with a tight story, great acting, and fantastic action scenes you can't miss... Jun 9, 2010 Full Review Anton Bitel Film4 Knowingly derivative, Ryoo's action-driven elegy is nevertheless full of surprises - not least of which is its relative restraint. acsdoug D The story really ain't much. It just serves as an excuse to get to the fight scenes. The fight scenes are rather stylish though, albeit completely unrealistic, and Lee Beom-soo plays a good villain. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Google Good action movie with the 5 lead characters which was beautifully developed considering the film is about 90 mins Fight choreography were good which gave me some nostalgic martial arts vibe Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/22/20 Full Review Audience Member Humorous with some decent action sequences. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as good as I recall, like the story of childhood friends; with one turning on the rest. Stupid music, picture is ok quality, and some good fights. Ending fight super unrealistic, they beat up people in a few hits and get hit 100 times themselves Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member a korean movie is director by john woo film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member eye popping like it said and very well filmed Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
