Hugh L Uninspired dialog, predictable plot. Watching commercials is more entertaining. I'm sure someone worked very hard to get this movie made. That just makes it sadder somehow. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review Audience Member Loved movie but clothes were too current for the time period. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Very Dr. Quinn Medicine-esque. Romantic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Who made this drivel? One of the first scenes show the widow hammering nails on the porch. The design of that hammer makes it - at the earliest - middle of the twentieth century, not the nineteenth. Other items also way out of date. Clothing ALWAYS super-clean. On a nineteenth-century FARM? A campfire that was gas-fired? The lines, and the actors, would have fit better in a high-school play. I watched it to its ridiculous ending just to see whether it might anywhere get better. It didn't. If you want to laugh at cinematic ridiculousness, watch it.... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Good story idea. Terrible writing. Terrible acting. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a very sweet, wholesome movie with a great happy ending. The acting was a little bit robotic, but overall worth the time to see how everything works out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
