In this sequel to "Claudia," Claudia (Dorothy McGuire) and architect David Naughton (Robert Young) are still happily married in suburban Connecticut. Claudia is devoted to their 3-year-old son, Bobby, which annoys David. When David begins working for Elizabeth van Doren (Mary Astor), a wealthy and attractive widow, Claudia wonders whether he's being faithful.
