Jasper Rees Daily Telegraph (UK) Click and Collect offered proof that, in certain circumstances, it is possible to have your cake and eat it. Rated: 4/5 Jan 7, 2019 Full Review Hugo Rifkind Times (UK) Their relationship was a little one-note, and the climatic scene with a claw-grabbing arcade machine was at least ten minutes too long, but as family-friendly silliness it didn't really put a foot wrong. Michael P There's nothing wildly original about this film but that doesn't matter. It's a Christmas film. Stephen Merchant plays the pedantic spiritless dry guy and Asim Chaudry is the fun-loving, full of spirit, ball of fun. They end up the unusual team, the odd couple with a shared goal that tests their already fraught, one-way relationship. The outcome is some heart warming laughs. I find both actors very engaging and if you want something to lighten the mood, something very digestible, a bit safe and dare I say familiar, I'd give it a chance. It's on Netflix UK as of writing this. Why do British writers think we enjoy these rubbish comedies? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Tom F An absolute gem of a Christmas movie and which has gained classic status in our household. First watched it a few years ago when the kids were younger and they're now teenagers and love it even more as most of the gags originally went over their heads. The chemistry between the two lead actors Stephen Merchant and Asim Chaudhry is great with laugh out loud moments and is reminiscent of ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles' albeit in a low budget British way. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review Paul M Some good old fashioned British humour. A good, seasonal watch, but if you watch it you will suffer from #Whamageddon Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
