jacob b It might not have an actual plot but as a showcase of some really cool claymation, Closed Mondays makes for a groundbreaking short film from a man who could be seen as perhaps the Walt Disney of claymation, Will Vinton. It does look a bit outdated nowadays when compared to Vinton's TV specials but I can definitely admire it for how, for stop-motion animation, it was a massive step up from the stilted, wooden appearance of Rankin-Bass, old-timey charm notwithstanding.
