See more 01/30/2011 I had remember the cover of Coast to Coast from a long time ago when I was scanning movies @ the video store & I thought it was a sex comedy. Boy was I wrong. Instead it's a light weight romantic comedy that has been all but forgotten. There's no DVD release for it that I know of & the only reason I have a copy is I recorded it off the late great Drive-In Classics years ago. It had always been something I had wanted to see based on cover art alone. Now watching it I know who Robert Blake is & I should have known better that he wouldn't star in something riddled w/ T&A. Dyan Cannon is divorcing her husband & he commits her to an insane asylum. She escapes hooks up w/ trucker Robert Blake to California & falls for him in the process. Bland, predictable & annoying & definitely not what I thought I was getting myself into. The best part was the ending, which was pretty funny even though it was predictable. See more 08/19/2010 This run of the mill road movie is slightly funny and mostly annoying. Cannon is especially annoying, she makes me think she really was crazy. The story is predictable, I knew the end within the first ten minutes. If you like road movies with annoying people like Dyan Cannon, you'll like this movie.
