With the success of Cocaine Bear in the theaters earlier this year, it was only a matter of time before other animals fell victim to narcotics and B-movie excess. Go to Full Review

I love a good noir as much as the next cinephile, but it isn’t done correctly here. Nor is this what the audience for this kind of title wants. Go to Full Review

Between all the embarrassingly indecipherable accents from actors, usage of random B-roll, and bottom-of-the-barrel horror noir storytelling, Cocaine Shark sinks like Titanic 666. Go to Full Review

Jens B Oct 13 I generally find it admirable when people make films even if they don't have the budget. "The Evil Dead" and "Bad Taste" came about that way. But here's the difference between those films and "Cocaine Shark": Raimi and Jackson not only had talent, but were also able to attract investors for their projects. This level—the job of a producer—is completely lacking in "Cocaine Shark." Director Mark Polonia boasts about making zero-budget films and has over 100 under his belt. That would be impressive if there were any learning curve or a desire to improve quality. Instead, he's turned his lack of budget into his trademark and delivered a "film" that makes me think to myself: I can make "Cocaine Shark" better with my iPhone and enough time. And I know how difficult it is to put a film together. "Cocaine Shark" doesn't fail because of money. It fails because of the laziness of its director and co-stars in wanting to go the extra mile and make the best possible film. Every YouTube video from 2023 boasts better technical quality. Not to mention the script—even in the US, there are public libraries where you can find specialist literature on screenwriting. I could complain endlessly, but it's pointless anyway. Polonia has found its niche producing thumbnails for Tubi and the like. It's their own fault if they click on them. See more Malice in Wonderland P Jun 15 Beard or no beard. That is the question. Outside shot of the island cabin in the dark of night. Miraculously, it’s daylight when the actor, and I use the term loosely, enters. Continuity is not this film’s strong suit. I’m a low budget shark movie super fan, but this is the worst movie I’ve ever seen. No cocaine. No shark. I could produce a better movie using my phone and hiring neighborhood kids to act in it. Just awful. See more Izzy M Jun 7 If you are a complete cinephile that loves yourself a beautifully shot movie that looks like it has been fully edited on PowerPoint and used only one take for each scene, this spectacular and bootylicious film is for you. Our favorite scenes included: Neil rubbing his hairy belly The spirit of Halloween skeleton with eyeballs edited into a lakeside meadow, and Fuente semi-casually going, "oh, is that the driver?" #1 top favorite fantastical whimsical jaw dropping scene in which fuente painfully excruciatingly gurgles on the floor before it switches to his claymation face melts into a puddle of green goo But to be quite honest and real with the rotten tomatoes community that I hold so dear to my aching heart, this movie was a great step in my journey towards forgiving my dad for going out on the boat that day and never coming back because he also got eaten by a shark, leaving my mother, lizard, and I behind forever. Thank you to everyone who created this movie I want to kiss you on the lips so bad because this sensational movie saved me.
