larrykohut L Cockneys vs zombies. Is a horror / comedy with some action. It's got 3 genre styles into 1 film. It does do a good job for a zombie movie and is entertaining. The storyline of this movie is about 5 or 6 people who end up robbing a bank of 2and a half million dollars. At a bank during a pandemic. Where zombies are feeding the streets. Although there not aware of it at first until two of them hear this on the radio. So they band together to get guns and ammunition and food for supplies. They also want to save there grand pa and his friends. The movie is a decent film . That goes under the radar. This movie isn't rated . But with it's violence and language it should be rated r . Parents guide/ Christian perspective Violence: lots of shooting in this movie against the zombies . Zombie bites a man's arm. Zombies feed off several bodies of humans in this movie. Humans shoot at zombies in the head . In the beginning they shoot them in the stomachs and legs but it doesn't stop them from dying. Humans stabs zombie with a sword and then combines it with another zombie Forceing them both into a wall . Which ends up killing a 3rd zombie on the other side of the wall. Language: several JC words / religious profanities. S words and 1 b word . F words scattered throughout the film. Nudity : none Sex / drug references : none Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/24 Full Review Nyormand C C'mon! It's a Zombie movie! But, it's got an entertaining, funny plot. When you're laughing you head off watching an old guy on a walker trying to outwalk the slow zombies and the rest of the nursing home come to his rescue, you can at least enjoy the ridiculous of it all. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/29/23 Full Review Colin M Comedy about zombies in London's East End. But zombies is a tired concept. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A daft film that's like a comedy version of the Football hooligan films with the Hammers Zombies fighting in the film for good measure. In this the Zombies for some reason have decided they want to finish off what's left of the Cockney's in East London. I don't know who the villains are as the humans are thieves and thugs whose grandfather knew Ronnie and Reggie(Probably). A decent cast of elderly actors who were possibly featuring in their last production. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review harri k Not great but good enough for laughs and general entertainment. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I'd recommend this movie for those that like humorous, over-the-top violent zombie movies. Just silly fun- with the added bonus of seeing 78 year old Tom Good from Good Neighbors/The Good Life using a sub-machine gun on zombies. Thelma Adams Yahoo! Movies Maybe it's me, but after all the bloated, clanging, FX-driven summer tent poles, I'm partial to a gentle genre horror comedy that has gooey guts - but doesn't throw the heart out with the steaming entrails. Oct 31, 2013 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Cockneys vs. Zombies quickly overcomes its dull-as-death titling and turns out to be the best zombie yuk-fest since Edgar Wright broke new, unhallowed ground with Shaun of the Dead nearly a decade ago. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 2, 2013 Full Review Kyle Smith New York Post You may protest that this is just a splattery feature-length sketch, and you'd be absolutely right. Why not have a laugh at this absurdly trite concept? Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 2, 2013 Full Review Brent McKnight The Last Thing I See Haven't you always wanted to see a bunch of cranky, foul-mouthed octogenarians have it out with swarming hordes of the undead? Rated: B Jul 9, 2020 Full Review Amie Simon Three Imaginary Girls There's plenty of good Zombie-genre jokes in the script - for instance, the fact that an old person using a walker can outrun the slow-moving undead - plus LOTS of splatter. Mar 2, 2019 Full Review Sarah Gopaul Digital Journal This movie is laugh-out-loud funny. British comedy really lends itself to this genre as their dark sense of humour complements the monstrous situations. Oct 22, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
