Ed B Aug 11 It’s ok, but it’s quite old and from a different era in so many ways, especially in the portrayal of the women characters. See more Donald A @TheRealAckervold 11/15/2023 After viewing the latter Columbo episodes and coming back to the previous pilots, I find myself highly amused by Columbo's almost boyish quality. Yes, his performance is good. Gene Barry's murderer is one of the most calculating and meticulous of the series, providing some of the most fascinating criminal insight into the forthcoming episodes. Katherine Justice's mistress, is, however, the best performance in the film. She is broken, it seems, and then, unrelenting. Coupled with a great ending and a wealth of quirks that were to become staples of the legendary show, "Prescription: Murder" is a Columbo film that is not to be left out of the lineup.
