Jeff M I'm not sure what drew me to watch this the other day. I'm not a particular fan of the show - I'll take the worst Brady over the best Partridge any day of the week. But I was tired and not anxious to start anything too serious or long. I just needed something light and fluffy. Well, be careful what you ask for... Seriously, though, this isn't all that bad. I can't recommend it, but it was a decent enough time filler. The bulk of the story centers around Danny Bonaduce and, to a lesser degree, David Cassidy. The other cast members just exist. Pyfrom is ideal casting as Bonaduce and easily gives the best performance in the film. If the face looks familiar, you may remember him as Bree's son on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. I was less impressed with Scott as Cassidy, who doesn't look anything like his real life counterpart. Gordon as Shirley Jones has more than a passing resemblance to the Oscar winner but gives a rather dull and lackluster performance. There's not much juicy behind the scenes details here, other than Cassidy and Susan Dey hooking up in a trailer. Fans of the show will obviously appreciate it more, but I've had worse times in front of the TV. It's clear, however, that Danny was the most cooperative cast member since the entire thing basically focuses on him... with smaller insights into David and Susan.
