I really wanted to like this movie but the beginning crawled along and I noped out after about a half hour and then came back to it after watching El Camino hoping it would hold up. After some skipping of a lot of boring scenes, I got to the meat and I liked it. This movie could have benefited from a stronger editing hand. The cast all does very well, hence the 3 stars but I hated the ambiguous ending. Do they live or die? Nobody knows and do they really care at this point?

If you can believe that a 2-year romance is worth giving up your life for, this is your kind of movie. If you can follow details that become a plot, you'll like this one, too. My favorite aspect is that the gender roles are reversed.
