Peter T Underrated. A really well acted and filmed account of the lives of ordinary French/Belgian refugees during WW2. OK so the CGI is a bit amateur but if you are looking for story not special effects it's well worth a look. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/18/22 Full Review Liam D It isn't one of the best War movies but it's a decent one Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Superb! Do not pay any attention to the professional film critics that probably never found out what real life is like. This movie follows along as it is written in diaries, history, and journals of ordinary people trying to survive. This is what happens when there is such hatred against civilians. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Alexandra H I loved this movie!!! It's beautifully made and acted. It captures the pathos of French villagers doing the best they can to flee the on-coming German Blitzkrieg. The lead characters are attractive people that you're rooting for. The father's love for his young son makes all the madness bearable. It's an inspiring story of beating the odds. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/17 Full Review Audience Member Una pelicula con buenas intenciones, solo eso. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is one of the most powerful movies I've seen in the last five years for us all the acting is terrific the cinematography is incredible the costumes and period piece takes you back into the war like no other movie I've ever seen Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sheri Linden Los Angeles Times With its old-fashioned gloss, the incident-packed story proves only mildly engaging and finally has little to say. Sep 29, 2016 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle The plight of wartime refugees has rarely if ever looked so picture-postcard perfect as it does in this well-intentioned but ultimately plodding and far too painterly period melodrama. Rated: 2/5 Sep 22, 2016 Full Review Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic "Come What May" is a paint-by-numbers account of a real-life World War II event, the displacement of eight million people from their homes in France. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 15, 2016 Full Review David Bax Battleship Pretension There's nothing more to it than meets the eye. Its lessons about cooperation and everyone fulfilling roles in the group according to their own strengths are high school essay basic. Jan 5, 2021 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com As far as war movies go, Come What May plays it safe, a melodrama which prizes the picturesque over the grotesque, and often to its own narrative detriment. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 15, 2020 Full Review Cate Marquis We Are Movie Geeks [It] is a very sincere historical film about an overlooked aspect of WWII, well-directed and beautifully shot with some nice acting and moving scenes, if a rather conventional dramatic film overall. Rated: 3.5/5 May 1, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
