bao s What? LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review ari v 4.25/5 A very humanistic and creative treatment of a rather loaded subject. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Carlos I It's a bit of a confusing mess, dipping into some effective scary science fiction, then all of a sudden switching gears to stark science fact in dealing with the fallout on a human mind and his world around him after an abduction. It's all presented in a hazy dreamlike world that blurs the line of fantasy and reality. I imagine it's much like the experience one would have from being abducted. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/22 Full Review kevin w Aliens abduct a family man (played by Christopher Walken). They make him forget about it, but he starts to remember anyway, a little at a time. Cue eerie suspenseful music. This is a quality effort with pedigree across the board to get to "weird" and "spooky" as a result although "unresolved" is there as well. Walken fans will love this but most others will wish for more. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review delysid d almost bored to death watching this, i had to watch some old kirk douglas movies to recover Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/23/22 Full Review Audience Member just awesome creepy vibes. nice filmmaking technique. Something about the visual style is disciplined which gives it a longevity not found in less-well-crafted films from 30 years ago or more. There are a few pieces of bad acting, but mostly it's good, scary, story telling. Not quite "horror" or "thriller", there's a strong psychological component to the story & character development. Really fun watch for me. And of course, Walken's energy is amazing. He's in his mid-40s here and in the middle of his weird beautiful career. O yeah- sometimes he looks straight into the camera. That makes the whole thing worth it. thumbs up, yo. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …seeing Christopher Walken deep probed by aliens has a real curiosity value for gawkers and thrill-seekers, but Communion’s intermittent sense of quasi-religious conviction is unusual to say the least… Rated: 3/5 Feb 19, 2024 Full Review Candace Wiggins Southern Voice (Atlanta) Excellent photography. Excellent soundtrack. Feb 15, 2022 Full Review Stefan Birgir Stefans sbs.is Communion isn't a good by any known human standards, however, if we go with my high strangeness theory, that is, that the movie is intentionally weird to invoke the feelings of an abductee in the viewer, then it's a smashing success.
