Set primarly in the confines of a jail cell, this film takes the audience on a journey through several first hand testimonies of several unique story tellers. Director Jim Lewis did a great job pushing both of his lead actors; Clare Grant & Steve Barrett, to deliver their best performances. A film that won't dissappoint. The music, editing, camera work were all on point. See more william w 06/08/2020 Looking at the trailer and the film description was enough to attract my attention but was not really sure what to expect. Sci-Fi? Comedy? Rom-Com? Well, it is a little of all of those and actually works. Well filmed and acted an engaging story of an x-files like plot unfolds. There is some great interplay between the two main characters, who really do a nice job of acting. It's a relatable story - two unique characters who dislike each other find common ground. At it's core it's a romance story we've seen before but Confessions of a Producer is a unique story-line. The likable characters will draw you in, make you snicker, and root for them even when you wonder why. The gem of Indie films is that they can break the rules of Hollywood storytelling to offer unique yet lovable storytelling. Great job to the filmmakers for this film. I totally enjoyed its refreshing yet engaging premise: A producer is cursed and the only way to lift the curse is by his nemesis. Twist! This film is well made with completely original characters and solid performances.
