Gunn W 05/05/2023 If you're a fan of Bruce Boxleitner (BB), you'll like this! I personally thought his best work was in Babylon 5, but now after seeing this film, I would definitely put this as a very close second! Yeah, it seemed to be on a relatively low budget - no huge Hollywood effects or explosions, but what it did have was an interesting storyline. It kept me engaged for the entire movie! BB plays the US President who is infected with a rare strain of Ebola. There is a ransom for the cure - but now the virus has gone airborne, killing a lot more than the 'bad guys' thought it would. Now it's up to this Super Doctor to find the cure - save the president - and all those within a 5 mile radius to avoid bombing them to contain the virus. There's also a cute little orphan boy, running around the hospital who adds a lot to the story. RECOMMENDATION: Watch it!! Skip the Hollywood 'message' and huge budget films. Get back to the basics with good characters, hard decisions, and a good plot. I think you'll like it!! See more 08/27/2020 The movie had some valid scientific points but was kind of choppy with scenes and left their audience feeling confused about situations. Followed by some confusing scenes, the acting was not the best with of course the bad effects. As far as the storyline, it is obviously possible that an outbreak can happen. Though, the doctors in the hospital and the main doctor did not have correct or any PPE. It was confusing that Dr.Landis was in direct contact with the president and did not catch any symptoms until way later and some of his secret service did not catch anything.
