Dorothy Woodend The Tyee (British Columbia) The sheer density of information is also overwhelming. History rarely wraps up nicely, and seeking to condense such a complex and sprawling saga into 88 minutes is a feat. Aug 24, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This film is an important legacy piece about the an incident of racism against a boat load of Indian immigrants who attempted to land in Vancouver in 1914. You will never think of Wilfrid Laurier or Mackenzie King in the same way again..nor can you believe that early race relations in Canada were relatively pristine. Unfortunately this legacy piece has too few viewers. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
