Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe Curiosity wears thin fast, and Cool as Ice ends up seeming tired as well as twisted. The man whom promoters call the rap-era Elvis has negative charisma. Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Steve Murray Atlanta Journal-Constitution Question: What has a bland flavor and makes your blood run cold? Answer: Vanilla Ice. Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Michael Wilmington Chicago Tribune It's one of those movies that seem fabricated for a shopping mall: decorative, pretty, vacuous. Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Terry Lawson Dayton Daily News It's all as passé and unoriginal as its star, whose brief blast of popularity at least proves Americans are wising up: After all, Pat Boone stuck around for years. Rated: 1/4 Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Jack Garner Rochester Democrat and Chronicle The plot of the Vanilla Ice movie, Cool As Ice is as simple and obvious as the rap star's wooden acting. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Tony Norman Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Director David Kellogg tries hard to make a hackneyed script at least look good. One could plausibly chop the movie into pieces and produce several outstanding Vanilla Ice videos. Rated: C- Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Will H There are a lot worse movies out there. The movie has a simple plot and is definitely family friendly. It also features the dad from Family Ties. By the film came out, Vanilla Ice was no longer on top and most of fans had turned against him. Thus, it tanked at the box office. I promise, if this came on tv on some boring Saturday afternoon, you would probably come out thinking that it wasn't so bad. I mean, when a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it: Just add ice. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Cameron L Ha ha ha! What the hell am I looking at? I can't stop laughing how nonsensical and silly it is. It's too cute Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/21/23 Full Review Scott S Vanilla Ice moves audiences to tears with his stunning portrayal of Vanilla Ice. Just when I thought Hollywood was getting stale, here we have an actor that can not only act, but skateboard, ride motorcycles, AND dare I say rap. When Vanilla's character Vanilla said "Word to your mother" my heart sank into the bottom of my chest. Move over Goodfellas, there's a new sheriff in town. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/08/23 Full Review Gabriella C Cool as ice, first off why did Vanilla Ice get the opportunity to be the leading actor in Cool as Ice when he only had one hit song in his discography. Additionally, the movie suffered from a bad script especially for the ex - boyfriend which is upsetting because it as a pretty strong cast of Naomi Campbell . This movie was supposed to promote Vanilla's Ice acting career but thankfully that did not happen it as a commercial failure and a box office bomb and ngl I see why Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/03/23 Full Review Steve D Not cool, but very funny, for all the wrong reasons. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Mihai V What can i say about this movie? It is the greatest movie of all time, and one of the most crucial intelectual, emotional, and cultural developments. Why? Because it manages to show every crucial aspect of the human condition with out being deluded by personality or character in anything. Simply put, all of the small, big, implicit or explicit aspects of this movie are 110 % devoid of any personality or character, it being a black whole that sucks out everything that might distract you in a good or bad way. It is the point zero of movies, of existence and i love it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review Read all reviews
