Dan Sallitt Senses of Cinema If you respond to the deadpan presentation, Corroboree finds ways of renewing its droll comedy over the course of its 90-minute running time, and suggests an intriguing social context for the shoot that we grasp only in fragments. Oct 12, 2018 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews I never could warm up to its aesthete murkiness, as it kept things purposely weird and not fully revealing. Audience Member A dying man hires a young man to come to his vacation home. He has hired him along with 5 actresses to re-create scenes of his life while he watches from behind the scenes. What would have been and should have been an interesting edgy film is actually very bland and dull. A real MISS in my opinion. Skip this one. It's clear what this was meant to be and even clearer that it did not succeed. What a shame. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
