MFB Critics Monthly Film Bulletin This adaptation of Bruce Walker's play Master Crook can justly be accused of sensationalism. The characters are all stereotypes and in no way arouse the warmth of pity or indignation. Jan 29, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

tim v Although many viewers would label this British film of the mid-'50s (1953) as dated and stereotypical, its story, based on the self-titled novel, is quite interesting and attempts to address vital social issues such as teenage pregnancy and deliquency. Joan Collins is radiant, here, in one of her early roles (only 20 years old). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
