Domenico S 20 minutes in seemed like a fun story about nerds who love being nerds investigating space. around 55 minutes, surprisingly for this joke of a service, 55 equaling ss or secret service, it becomes a far right smoke and mirrors foray into each countries law enforcement attempting to create narrow pathways for people to live in by using fascist religous and governance groups to make people think we need to not mix so they can identify and program with more ease. whether this is a fail because of a lack of intelligence and creativity on the part of the writers and producers...actually no its a fail because of its obvious see through attempt at divide and conquer tactics. made worse by some failed attempt at intimidation with a song about a rat, only made useful by it being quite evident law enforcement religion and the elites are the clear rats in society, eating their own due to being mindless brainwashed drones. hopefully at some point soon we might see creativity that isnt just pathetic attempts to control populations into a mindless drudgery that is no more than the enslavement of civillians. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/09/25 Full Review AJ L I don't love films that are a slow burn to start, but man do I love space and Cosmos just does it for me. They bring the heat at the end and finish with a flourish. Inspiring film, definitely has that movie magic!! :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review John J While the Brit film is low-budgeted, it is a must see for aficionados of the big question of SETI. The plot hinges on whether we should attempt to advertise our presence to the rest of the Universe. The character development is fantastic. The ending is particularly satisfying if you believe in the intellectual romance behind astronomy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/03/25 Full Review Christopher B The character development was fantastic and the history and relationships between the characters is at least 50% of the story. That’s what ultimately draws you in and makes this such a great watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/25 Full Review A L Slow, intimate pacing allowing characters to develop. Worth the watch.
