The Covenant plays out like a teen soap opera, full of pretty faces, wooden acting, laughable dialogue, and little suspense.

Alan O This is a seriously underrated movie of its times. I really enjoyed it and would recommend giving it a watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Ashley H My best friend got me into this movie. It is so good and very entertaining. I started to have a crush on Steven Strait who played Caleb Danvers in the movie. I still enjoy this movie very much, I just haven't watched it in a really long time. I will eventually start watching it again very soon. I highly recommend it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/24 Full Review Jim M Decent film holds up better than it has any right to Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review Derek S Well, for once I agree with the critics review. Almost everything that is said about this movie is true, but hear me out. This is one of those movies that is bad, but so good. It's just a fun, cool story, and I love it. A great rainy day movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Craig M Acting not the best, but it's a fun movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review Norry S This is one of the best movies to have ever been created. It's visually beautiful yet has a good storyline, plenty of homoerotic subtext and a very interesting and unique magic system. It's a fantasy action movie so it's rather light on character development but in the end the main character takes responsibility and makes needed sacrifices. What more could ever you want in a movie?!? :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Andrew Pulver Guardian ... this falls well short of the Buffy-level resonances at which [Harlin] was presumably aiming.
