Martin B Aug 13 Lost me with the woman bonding with a convict with no prospects, her last scene standing right out in the open ostensibley in introspective thought while a shootout is going on. Not a fan of convice break out films they always end up turning on each other, the genre a cliche. See more nick s 03/22/2024 Good movie with plenty of settings and action scenes. Actors gave an authentic performance. A few things needed a polish - like the instant romances - but not enough to distract from the entertainment. See more 09/22/2014 Cons on the run after a prison break; joined together by the promise of buried treasure. After the rush of a (rather unclear) breakout, the movie takes its time letting us watch the jockeying for advantage and how the convicts relate to each other and to the world they're traveling through, but aren't really a part of; they might as easily be soldiers negotiating enemy territory). Stories within the story are given time to play out in a very satisfying way; at least 'til near the end when things are a bit more rushed and a bit less rich and satisfying.
