Robert M This film goes far beyond the "coming of age" that many describe. It shows perfectly imperfect human beings who have to confront their imperfections. It's a film that, in my opinion, is fundamentally about the notion of forgiveness, which is so essential in this imperfect world. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/04/24 Full Review PridePosterStudios My heart will never not drop through my stomach every time I see père drop bébé. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review Audience Member This was one of the best movies I've ever seen, amazing everything. You have to watch the movie, fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Been waiting for years to see Jean-Marc Vallee's ("Wild" "Dallas Buyer's Club" "Big Little Lies") breakthrough, and aside from feinting and soft-peddling the gay subplot, it turned out to be a beautifully drawn portrait of fathers, sons and brothers, and coming of age in the 70's and early 80's. Definitely worth it (and strangely, an appropriate Christmas movie). Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Eitan D Very well done movie about how difficult it was for boy to grow up in a conservative society Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/20 Full Review Audience Member This movie was awesome. Just sad it took me 14 years to find it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
