Audience Member Overall it is a silly film, but once you accept you are not watching Harvey Keitel playing a Winston Wolfe or a Mr. White and just accept this is more of a slapstick comedy with French humor it becomes a bit more enjoyable. The film starts off clearly establishing the main characters as a team of bumbling burglars but as the movie processes the character arc is fun to watch. Solid acting overall but I think Saïd Taghmaoui really did a great job with his performance. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member very cool shoot 'em up heist pic with lotsa action & a cheeky sense of humour! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a great film, funny and well shot. I think it was a bit too smart and too subtle for the average audience. There are no laugh-out-loud jokes (though I did) and this crime comedy formula has been done before, which may be what is putting the critics off, but it is still a very cute and well made film if taken on its own merit. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Another movie where I don't agree with the masses. Clever and funny. I prefer movies that are character and dialogue driven. If you like dark comedy-crime capers - check it out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Strike 1: The formulaic plot. Strike 2: The sub-par actors. Strike 3: The subtitles and horrible production quality. I watched less than 20 minutes of this, skipped to the middle to see if it looked like I might be missing anything good, saw that I wasn't, and turned it off. This isn't worth the hour and 45 minutes or the electricity needed to run my DVD player. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
